SCHOOL TOUR
THE MAPLE MAN / LA GRANDE COULÉE

As part of its annual Maple Sugar Festival du Sucre d’Érable, L’Association des francophones de Nanaimo and The Maple Man (also known as “La Grande Coulée”) invite you to participate in a unique workshop/show that focusses on presenting maple sugar cultivation in a way that will make delight your sweet tooth. The workshop informs school children about maple sugar cultivation and demonstrates traditional methods of maple syrup production.
René Turmel, well known in British Columbia as "The Maple Man," will gladly share his passion for maple products with you when he visits your school.
Tour Dates: February 15 to 26, 2010
Price per Workshop (one hour):
$750 for one workshop + $1.25 per child for toffy
$800 for two workshops + $1.25 per child for toffy
$850 for three workshops + $1.25 per child for toffy
$900 for four workshops + $1.25 per child for toffy
N.B. The maximum number of attendees per workshop/show is 75.
You may reserve more than one workshop per day per school, based on the number of attendees.
