Cashiers
To operate cash registers for the sale of coupons
for food and toffee on snow.
Tentative Schedule
Friday, February 19 – 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Saturday, February 20 – 8:00 am to 11:00 pm
Sunday, February 21 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Set-up Crew
Unload supplies from our 48-foot trailer van to the festival site,
stage setup, organize tables and chairs, erect stands.
After the festival, taking down the stage, tables, etc., and reloading
the van.
*Heavy lifting required*

General Headquarters
Register and direct volunteers to various workstations.
Manage lost and found items.

serving of traditional festival meals.

Washing dishes during the festival

Messengers
Deliver messages to festival administrators.
Assist with pickup and delivery of items to the festival site.
Running errands as required throughout the festival.
Moving food from site to site, picking up Festival artists if
required.

L'AFN Booth Attendants
Promote and sell specialty products. Promoting Bonjour! Program.
Familiarity with products required.

Mt. Washington Snow Crew
Obtain and transport snow from Mt. Washington. At least one
volunteer, in their own vehicle, will be the designated crew driver
to Mt. Washington. Help install and replenish snow containers.

Festival Snow Crew
Building snow containers, setting up and refilling snow
when needed throughout the festival.

Clean-Up Crew
Maintaining a clean festival site using the equi pment provided.
Clean eating areas constantly during the day to sanitary standards.
Clear dishes and glassware from the tables in the Centennial
building.
Tidy Festival site at the end of each day, wipe down
tables and food areas,
empty garbage and recycling areas, keep
washroom facilities clean and well stocked.
French speaking is not required

Make-up Artists
Face painting during Festival hours

Mascot and Mascot Escort
Dress and act as Toffy, our Festival Mascot or escort Toffy
while he participates in various activities during the Festival.

Welcoming Committee
Welcome visitors to the Festival at their arrival and departure of
the Festival grounds. Hand out brochures with the Festival schedule,
answer questions regarding general information about the Festival.

Direct traffic flow, help festival attendees find parking

Set-up Crew
Remove all equi pment and set-up material from truck at
the Festival, set up the grounds, replace and tear-down

equipment after the festival.
Onsite volunteers for setting up kiosks, tables, and chairs.
